Blowing out the candles

Birthday cards bring happy thoughts, the kind that makes you smile and think for a second. It is nice to receive, nice to hear those words that says all is okay or to feel that so many has your back. These are the people that accepts you and stands by you through thick and thin.

In an ideal world the above would be true for some but it is not always the case. How many times do you buy the birthday card and provide the support and all your left with in the end is a fake friend only wanting and acting his or her way through. The best of all is some of us does not give up so easily and we try again and again until we start thinking that the fault lies with us and not with them. So it starts, all the questions about what is the real truth behind it.

Never give up on anyone or so we believe but why should u stick around with someone who does not really believe in you. Why spend time laughing and smiling knowing that behind your back its all one long conversation. The truth is what you do for someone else or let me say try and do for them is real but it goes with notice and then gets ignored.

So i guess the real question is how many birthday cards will it take for you to realise that you are wasting your time. Best advice let go if you can or just act along and pretend for the rest of your life that you are infact important to this person. And that what you say means more than just a smile from them.

In the end i share my cake with those that deserves it, that makes me whole and supports who I am and as for the rest sorry there are only so many invitations...

Dont  lose your chance to do right upon others, you will answer for it in the end and that person might just be listening to all of it.

Broken Heart(s)

The "shop" has been closed for a long time but not to worry the doors are now open and more weird and not so weird writing will be coming your way; now...

An experience I am currently going through with some friends of ours is both shocking and an eye opener. You want to be there to help, to fight, to do more but when I am home having some quiet time I realize there is only so much we can do. Life at times throws us these curve balls, other times it is massive rocks that hit where it hurts the most. It is never a good thing but it is during such a time when you need friends around you to just be there to listen, not to judge or give advice on how to live their lives.

We all make mistakes, bad mistakes and when we look at ourselves in the mirror after we realize just how wrong and stupid it was of us, especially when you are in a relationship it seems like a monster is staring back. I have learnt not to look back, some people deserve the second chance but others who always have some hold over you and keeps on interfering does not deserve to be near you. Think of yourself and what you want first for your relationship before you think of them. Opinions might be different here but it will hurt me more to know that the person who was part of the pain and confusion in my mind is still hanging around.

If you really care about someone and you see the relationship and the hard work they are putting into it rather do the noble thing and walk away - don't think that part of your world is still your oyster by saying you care, doing favors and then expecting those supposed good deeds back way before schedule.

Leaves me thinking, my relationship is so important to me that I would do anything to make sure it stays that way. Yes nothing is perfect and their might be problems but you don't give up. Take that second chance both of you have decided on and walk with it...

From friends to friends :)

So much feelings that thunders from within
lightning strikes my heart and soul
I long for you still in memory and thought
time in our lives together be forever short
Together we can beat this storm
I need you by my side
Remember all that we built and all that we share
to know I love you rainbow or not.

Just a Quick Hello...

When it comes to saying hello, most people just say hello. Or the famous excuse me question, how are you, what are you doing, are you okay, can i get you anything?

We often ask these questions but do we really care when it comes to answering them. Whoever it might be,  they might need a are you okay, or is there something I can do to help? Often a stranger will ask you for help, do we walk away or just say hello?

Well I always wonder how much care really goes into a Hello. This is just a quick entry from me so see you all at my tomorrow.  :-)

PS: Thinking of you!

Turning away

Somewhere in between all the hustle of daily life and living in difference lies a road undiscovered by so many. This road lies hidden within City streets and busy Coffee shops, the signs outside clearly shouting " under construction". We walk by them every day of our lives, we see the progress of the construction in newspaper headlines, magazine columns and yes we even watch it on the news, but for some reason the truth remains a lie to us, we are blind.
Is it a choice we make to ignore the destruction of so many children's lives, or have we just accepted like everything else in our lives that it is normal. What is normal these days? A guy so drunk he can hardly walk is normal, a man beating his wife is considered normal, a child prowling the streets for money and drugs, that too has unfortunately become a normality we can no longer control or ignore.
Why does this happen? Yes there is a lot of factors that influences this, but the main root of all of this starts with us, yes us the many people who walk away or parents that has no time.
A few years back i heard a conversation between a father and son, the father dressed ever so corporate just simply told the child that he has work to do, he smiled and gave the child money, and I am not talking small money, I watched as the child rushed without even so much as a thank you. skipping happily towards the games arcade. Always you hear mothers discussing the drug abuse of their children, mothers even claiming that their children has been using drugs for years before they found out. Her child, the baby she gave birth too has turned into a monster, another addict statistic.
We as people have replaced our responsibilities with substitutes, we have gathered new ways to communicate with those around us, and all these new ways has become the very wall that keeps us from being actively involved in the lives of the many.If you remain a spectator walking by a horrid construction site, i can guarantee that you will miss the road less traveled  and might even miss the line that could have saved one child's life, and sooner or later it might be you trying to find that road you ignored for so long.

We all need to stop trying to see what the building will eventually look like and help the many others out there to destroy it.
