So it is Monday and the start of a new week which means more work and meetings and customers, and...and...and. I usually start my week by thinking the same thing, like this week I must write three short stories of 8000 words each for a client and honestly my brain is still in weekend mode so the energy is not yet there at all.
I normally go after something kind and motivational on a Monday, choosing a different piece each week just to get me going and I thought it is worth sharing with you.
"And so, dear heart, it is time for your restoration. For there is One greater than your Enemy, One who has sought you out from the beginning of time. He has come to heal your broken heart and restore your feminine soul"
The Ransomed Heart by John Eldredge
'He's always there...
To bear the burden,
To share the hours,
To strengthen the heart.
Our loving Lord,
Our faithful friend,
The one who cares...
He's always there.
Author: BJ. Hoff
No matter what you believe there is always something to find that will inspire to you and if there is not, just be grateful for what you have like your kids, a roof over your head, the fact that you have a job. Focus on the things that matter.
Holidays will come eventually to appreciate it even more. :-)
Hope this touched you today,
Johan
